Dr. Ali Rastikerdar’s Professional Journey:
Since my graduation in 2001, I have had two years of medical practice abroad, four years of post-graduate studies in Human genetics, at McGill University, and close to ten years of medical practice in Canada. The wide range of practice I have had, has helped me a lot in providing my patients with quality care. In September 2008, I started to practice in Labrador City, NL. My scope of practice was Family Practice, Emergency coverage, In-patient coverage, and uncomplicated obstetrics. In May 2011, I moved to Halifax, NS and continued to work as a General practitioner/Family doctor. In June 2015, I moved to Vancouver and since then I have been practicing as a General practitioner/Family doctor too. In December 2018, I was appointed at the rank of Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Practice at University of British Columbia.
